WE ARE THE INDISPENSABLE TOOL FOR DEBATE, THE ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL TOPICS THAT ADDRESS THE MOST SUSCEPTIBLE ISSUES OF OUR SOCIETY. The Institute of Culture and the Arts of Los Cabos, the Documentary Film Club and Casa de Cultura Prof. Alfredo Green present. More than a house traverses the dreams and violence of a generation of dispossessed workers, exploring their relationship with spaces of daily life and their capacity to transform any dwelling into a home. Rather than illustrating a problem, the film invites us to inhabit the time of observation. The richness of the film lies in its anthology of voices. Activists, lawyers, and people who maintain different relationships with their homes, configure a polyphonic fresco that displaces the notion of housing as an object and situates it as a disputed right, a space of life and a terrain of political conflict. More than a house does not seek to offer answers, but to open a space for reflection on the material and symbolic conditions that sustain our ways of inhabiting the world.
